How to Transfer Your HSA Mellon Account to Bank of America

As the account owner of your Health Savings Account (HSA) you can elect to transfer your HSA Mellon Account to Bank of America. Check out some common questions about transferring your money.

Here are the steps to take:
  1. Complete the HSA Authorization form.
  2. Return the completed form to Farm Credit Foundations (375 Jackson Street, St. Paul, MN  55101) by Jan. 31, 2008.
  3. Photo copies of signature cannot be accepted.

Liquidate your Mellon HSA Investment

If you are invested in a Dreyfus fund at Mellon Bank, these investments must be liquidated and movedto your HSA transaction account before to Jan. 31, 2008.

There are two ways to liquidate your account:

  • Call Dreyfus at 1-800-645-6561 and ask a service rep to liquidate the Dreyfus Fund(s) and move the money back into your transaction account.
  • Access your account online at Dreyfus to liquidate the Dreyfus Fund(s) and move the money back into your transaction account.
Stop Using Your Mellon Account

You must stop using your ACS/Mellon Bank account by Jan. 30, 2008, after you’ve completed steps one to three above.  Your debit card will be turned off on Jan. 31.
